1. TASK 3 BRIEF
Description and Summary
2. VISUAL REFERENCESAfter analysing the design of the choice in Task 2, create a work of design inspired by it. Applying design principles, using suitable mediums to convey the visual message, and not using direct photographs. Plagiarised work results in an F grade and university policy violations.
The blog should showcase all completed work for the module, along with a final reflection, and be discussed and demonstrated to the lecturer during class.

First, I draw a simple picture to show my idea.

First I made a gradient background .Then I dyed the earth gray with the toning function, and then I used a cut mask to blend the ocean with the earth so it looks like the ocean on a globe

I added coral to the image and darkened the color, then used a cut mask to blend the whale with the water, and finally used hue saturation to make the image more harmonious

Fish schools, dolphins, birds, and undersea trash were added to the poster and again refined with clipping masks, color levels, hue saturation, etc

Finally, add the theme I selected in TASK1 and Propaganda slogan.
Week 6 Ms Yip said my typograohy is not good, and search some design poster show me and let me to search more ideas. This is my poster at second time.
Week 7 I show my poster to Ms Yip , although I make some change on typography, it is hard to read. Ms Yip give me some examples to design my title. And my word at the bottom of the poster is not good, first, the words is to much ,then the line spacing is to far. So Ms said I can make the picture smaller. This is my final poster.

4. FINAL DESIGN
a rationale, in about 150-200 words, explaining/defending the decisions made in your design, the meaning/purpose of the design and the design principles that are found in the design.
In this design, visual references inspired my ideas ,I used the idea of a globe to separate the sea from the sky. The sky is grey and polluted, there is a lot of rubbish on the bottom, whales want to jump out of the water, the coral on the bottom is not as bright as usual, it is polluted, but the color of the water is still clear, and there are birds flying in the sky which proves that we still have room to recover. Even though my UN Sustainable Development Goal is life below water, it seems to me that life in the air and life in the water have a complex interdependence. Both are fundamental manifestations of the ecosphere and have a profound impact on all life, no matter where the living space is.
The visual reference gives me a lot of inspiration, and it can be divided into two parts to highlight the theme. Also, the earth has an equator that divides it into north and south, and 70% of the earth is ocean, so it was very convenient for me to use a globe to show the theme. In real life, the earth can rotate, indicating that our action to protect the ocean will never stop, and the ocean will become better because of our action, so I added a lot of creatures to the ocean full of garbage, so that the ocean is still alive, highlighting the theme of underwater life.
Design Principle:
Contrast: The sky and the sea are very different in colour
Emphasis：Trash on the bottom of the ocean and whales leaping out of the water to breathe underscore my theme
Movement:Creatures on the bottom of the sea and birds flying in the sky present images of living things in motion
Harmony:The sky and the sea are naturally part of the biosphere, the two are inseparable, the gray sky, the sea floor filled with garbage, both express the same theme, the sky and the sea are expressed in the form of a globe, making the two more harmonious.
