Experience

After taking the Advanced Typography course, I have gained a deeper understanding of typography, enabling me to have a more comprehensive understanding of the elements of fonts, line spacing, spacing, alignment and other aspects. In terms of software, my skills have improved greatly, and I can use professional typesetting tools (such as InDesign Fontlab, etc.) more skillfully, mastering advanced functions and techniques. My aesthetic sensibilities have also improved, understanding the importance of different typographic styles in conveying information and attracting readers' attention.

Observations

When completing assignments, I pay more attention to the details of typography, and some small details can have a great impact on the final result of the assignment. I began to pay more attention to the impact of font typography and the reading experience.

Findings

By the end of the semester, I found that I had a deeper understanding of the principles of typeface typography. This understanding allows you to apply these principles more accurately in your creative work and design. The Advanced Typography course made me realize the importance of using different typographic styles for different purposes and audiences. I can be more flexible in using different styles to design and convey the message I want.
